Attendee Terms & Conditions
Registration Agreement:
By registering for the WE IMPACT Women Entrepreneurship Conference 2025 you acknowledge that you have
read and agree to these Terms & Conditions. A confirmation email will be sent upon successful registration.
Cancellation & Substitution Policy:
1. Cancellations: If you cancel on or before April 6, 2025 (60 days before the event), you will receive a full
refund, minus a 25% administration fee. Cancellations after this date (within 60 days of the event) are
non-refundable.
2. How to Cancel: Please submit cancellation requests in writing to james.millikin@goefe.org. Refunds
will be processed within 30 business days of approval.
3. Substitutions: You may transfer your registration to another attendee by providing written notice no
later than May 21, 2025 (15 days before the event).
Event Changes & Cancellations:
Entrepreneurship For Everyone (EFE) reserves the right to modify the agenda, format, speakers, location within
the conference destination, and any other aspects of the event without liability. EFE may also change, cancel,
or postpone the conference at its discretion without obligation to provide a refund, except as determined by
the terms of this agreement.
Force Majeure:
In unforeseen circumstances beyond EFE’s control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions,
venue issues), EFE may cancel or reschedule the event. Partial refunds or future event credits may apply at the
organizers’ discretion.
1. Option 1: Tickets will automatically roll over to the rescheduled event.
2. Option 2: If rescheduling isn’t possible, attendees may receive:
1. A 50% refund (to recover non-recoverable costs).
2. A credit for future WE IMPACT events.
3. The option to transfer registration to someone else if unable to attend on the new conference
dates.
Data Privacy & Use of Personal Information:
EFE collects and processes personal data provided during registration to manage your participation in this
event. This includes communication about event logistics, content, payments, and updates. Your personal data
will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required for event administration.
Photography & Media Consent:
By attending the conference, you acknowledge that photography, video recording, and live streaming may
occur. You consent to the use of your image and likeness in promotional and marketing materials related to the
conference without compensation.
Code of Conduct & Anti-Harassment Policy:
EFE is committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment. Discrimination, harassment, and bullying based
on age, ancestry, color, disability, national origin, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity,
appearance, political affiliation, marital status, veteran status, or any other legally protected status will not be
tolerated. Violations may result in the removal from the event without a refund and potentially being banned
from future EFE events.
Intellectual Property & Recording Restrictions:
All conference materials, including presentations, slides, and recordings, are the intellectual property of EFE
and/or the respective speakers. Attendees may not record, reproduce, or distribute event content without
prior written permission – except for posting short videos and/or comments on social media that does not
explicitly disclose any copyrighted slides or materials.
Limitation of Liability:
The conference organizers assume no liability for any loss, damage, illness, or injury sustained during the
event, except where required by law. By attending, you acknowledge that you assume all risks related to
potential exposure to illness, including but not limited to COVID-19. Attendees are responsible for their own
travel and accommodation insurance coverage.
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution:
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the Commonwealth of
Virginia.
